Project Information
Project name: USA: Texas GJ Sutton Site redevelopment
Project description:

The Texas Facilities Commission’s (TFC) Center for Alternative Finance and Procurement has received bids from 10 companies for the development of a new P3 in San Antonio.

The bidders are Arup, Shikun & Binui Concessions, Hunt companies, Plenary, Star America Infrastructure Partners, Skanska, Casey Development, Holt Cullinan, NRP and CDM Smith.

The center issued the RFI to solicit responses related to the potential redevelopment of the GJ Sutton Site.

Firms are being sought to provide information that will help with the evaluation of potential options for the development, procurement, financing, and ultimate delivery of the project.

TFC is considering options to deliver a new office building, accommodating the needs of numerous state agencies on the current GJ Sutton Building site.

The project aims to deliver the required new facility for state employees, obtain the best value, and minimize the impact on the debt burden of the state.
