Project Information
Project name: USA: Florida Davie development
Project description:

The Town of Davie’s Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is seeking development partners to plan, design, finance, build, lease, install, expand, and operate compatible retail, restaurant, cultural, and entertainment uses along with active public spaces as the key elements of an overall Davie Downtown Center.

The CRA is leading the redevelopment efforts of Davie Downtown Center, on behalf of the Town of Davie.

Developers are sought for the mixed-use development of certain parcels of land located within the CRA’s Downtown Redevelopment Area. Parcels include the town hall and a rodeo arena.
This RFP will serve as a mechanism to announce the intention to formalize P3 and begin strategic implementation of the redevelopment plan.

The CRA is a separate and distinct entity from the Town of Davie and is directed by a five-member board who also sit as the Town Council. The creation of the agency affords an operational and financing mechanism to carry out redevelopment. It will consider transfer of ownership of the CRA-owned parcel as part of this project, however the other parcels must remain in ownership by the Town of Davie.

Davie is home to over 100,000 residents and spans over 35.6 square miles within Broward County.

Redevelopment Management Associates was selected as the city’s P3 consultant in 2016.
A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference and site visit is scheduled for May 10. Proposals are due by July 14, with questions by June 23.
