Project name: Peru: Mantaro-Nueva Yanango-Carapongo transmission lines P3
Project description:

The project involves the construction of two transmission lines, both up to 500kV for the energy system of the areas of Huancavelica, Junín and Lima. They will also transmit energy from new hydroelectric projects in the area.    

Works involve the construction of a line between Mantaro, Nueva Yanango and Carapongo, plus construction of a line between Nueva Yanango and Nueva Huanuco. Both projects will include associated substations.   

Under the plans, the winning firm will design, build, finance, maintain and operate both lines under a 30-year concession. The investment for the projects is expected to be $568.2m.
