Project Information
Project name: USA: Kentucky office building complex
Project description:

The Finance and Administration Cabinet of the Kentucky government is seeking a developer to finance, design, develop, construct, lease-back, and maintain an office building accommodating 1,500 employees (minimum 385,500gsf) on state-owned property located on Mero Street, Frankfort.

The developer will also enter into a business relationship with the government to redevelop the Capital Plaza Tower Office Building, Fountain Place Shops, Frankfort Convention Center, and surrounding areas in downtown Frankfort.

Under a build-to-suit agreement, the developer will demolish these buildings. The government said this approach allows it to leverage the expertise and financial wherewithal of the private sector to complete projects on an aggressive schedule.

A request for information was issued for the project in 2016.
