Project name: Canada: CAMH Phase 1C redevelopment P3
Project description:

Plenary Health CAMH has reached financial close on the contract to design, build, finance and maintain the CAMH Phase 1C redevelopment project, valued at approximately $685m. 

The Plenary Health CAMH team, which was named preferred bidder in January, includes:

Developer: Plenary Group (80%) and PCL Investments (20%)

Design-Builder: PCL Constructors 

Architect: Stantec Architecture 

Financial Advisor: Plenary Group

Facility Manager: ENGIE Services

Legal Advisor: Davies

TD Bank and ATB Financial are the bank lenders with a three-year term. Manulife and Sun Life purchased bonds (33 years) from TD Securities. Fasken Martineau advised the lenders. 

The project will result in the construction of approximately 655,000 sq ft of new build space with 235 in-patient beds. Construction will begin in fall 2017 with an expected substantial completion date of spring 2020.
