Ottawa Hospital extends deadline

19 June 2017 The Ottawa Hospital in Ontario has extended the deadline for proposals to provide architectural services.

Proposals are now due by July 13, 2017, instead of the original deadline of June 29.

The hospital is planning to build a new 50-60 acre acute campus in a central location to serve over one million people.

The consultant may transition into the role of project design and compliance should the project progress in a design-build-finance-maintain project delivery model.

Meanwhile, EllisDon has reached financial close on the Groves Memorial Community Hospital Project in Centre Wellington. The $127.5m fixed price contract is the second deal EllisDon signed with Infrastructure Ontario last week.
