Strong local interest in Chicago P3

16 June 2017 Over 40 firms attended the pre-bid conference this week for Chicago’s civic P3.

The Chicago Infrastructure Trust held the conference yesterday for the Relocation of 1685 N Throop Operations Project, which is being procured under a design-build-finance model.

All of the attendees registered at the event have offices in Chicago. Firms included Aecom, FH Paschen, Cannon Design, Johnson Controls, KeyBanc, Lendlease and Gensler.

Proposals are due by July 5 for the $37m project designed to improve operations of the Chicago Department of Fleet and Facility Management. For contact details, click here.

Meanwhile, Mayor Rahm Emanuel has praised the use of partnerships after securing funding from energy giant Exelon and the George Lucas Family Foundation for a $25m public sports facility.
