California agency seeks P3 advisors

7 June 2017 A wastewater district in California is seeking advisory services for the development and implementation of a P3.

The Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San) is seeking technical, financial, and legal P3 advisory services to develop a request for proposals (RFP) for its Bioenergy P3 Project.

The San Francisco Bay Area agency is to procure a multi-year service contract for processing and disposing undigested wastewater solids and the delivery of onsite renewable energy at Central San’s treatment plant in Martinez, California. Bids are due by June 30.

Central San recently issued a request for interest in the design, build, finance, operate project, with responses due by June 16.

Firms represented at pre-solicitation meetings last month included Acciona, Black & Veatch, Veoila, Flatiron, Suez, Sperry Capital and WSP.
