LAWA appoints LAX project manager

11 May 2017 Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) has awarded a project management contract and a legal services contract to support its Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP).

Jacobs has been awarded a seven-year prime contract for project and construction management to support LAMP, the Airline/Tenant Improvement Program and Capital Improvement Program at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Nossaman has been awarded a three year contract for legal services to assist LAWA and the City Attorney with real property related matters associated with LAMP, the Airport Noise Mitigation Program and other related legal services.

Last week LAWA revealed the four teams shortlisted for the Consolidated Rent-A-Car Facility (ConRAC) project are; 

  • CONRAC Partners (Meridiam, Skanska)
  • LA Gateway Partners (Fengate, PCL, MVI Finance)
  • LAX Consolidated Solutions (ACS, Aecom, John Laing)
  • Plenary Infrastructure Airports (Plenary, JLC Infrastructure Fund)

Qualifications were also submitted by Access LA (Macquarie, EllisDon) and LAX Car Partners (Acciona, Star America, Axium, Charles Pankow Builders).

Meanwhile, the final RFP for the Automated People Mover P3 is to be released in June with three teams remaining in the running.
