Three remain for LAX APM P3

20 April 2017 Three consortia remain in the running for the Automated People Mover P3 at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), P3 Bulletin understands.

The teams remaining are:
• Gateway Connectors, including equity members Kiewit, Meridiam and Skanska

• LAX Connecting Alliance, including equity members OHL, Acciona, Star America, Aberdeen, Axium Infrastructure, and Charles Pankow Builders

• LINXS, including equity members Fluor, Balfour Beatty , Hochtief, and ACS.

The other teams shortlisted by Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) in September, but which have now withdrawn from the process, are:

• LA Connext Partners, including equity members Ferrovial, Cintra, Bechtel, John Laing and Bombardier

• PWA, including  equity members Plenary, Walsh, Aecom, JLC Infrastructure Fund and Sumitomo Corporation

The final request for proposals is expected to be issued in June.
